Get Your Groove On 2026 (GYGO2026): Join Momma Badger in Rockford, Illinois to Help Break the World Record for the Largest All-Female Motorcycle Ride

Dates: June 11–13, 2026
World Record Attempt Ride: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Location: Hard Rock Casino, Rockford, Illinois
Official Website: https://midwestwomenriders.com/

There are motorcycle rallies… and then there are movements.

This June, something historic is rolling into Rockford, Illinois — and Angie, better known to many of you as Momma Badger, will be riding her own motorcycle all the way from Florida to the Hard Rock Casino in Rockford to be part of it.

The event is Get Your Groove On 2026 (GYGO2026), hosted by Midwest Women Riders. And on Saturday, June 13, 2026, women from across the country (and beyond) will attempt to break the world record for the largest group of female motorcycle riders on a single ride.

We’re not just attending.
We’re showing up with purpose.

And we want YOU to join Momma Badger in making history.

In the weeks leading up to the event, we’ll also be hosting a week-long showcase inside the Women of Support Bikers Facebook group, where each day we’ll post a question about GYGO2026 and provide detailed answers so no woman feels unsure about attending.

Let’s break it all down — the location, lodging, schedule, the current world record, and exactly what needs to happen to beat it.

Why GYGO2026 Is Bigger Than a Rally

Get Your Groove On isn’t just a women-only motorcycle event. It’s a celebration of:

  • Sisterhood

  • Empowerment

  • Skill building

  • Leadership

  • Representation

  • And unity in the motorcycle community

For decades, women riders have steadily grown in numbers. We are no longer passengers — we are riders, builders, instructors, entrepreneurs, road warriors, and leaders.

GYGO2026 is about showcasing that power — together.

And on June 12, we aim to prove it to the world.

What World Record are we Chasing? I don’t care, whatever it is, let’s make it happen! (updated on Febraury 27, 2026)

According to this snapshot on the Midwest Women Riders website when I went in to register for the event, it states the current world record for the largest all-female motorcycle ride is held by Australia. But is it? Keep reading to find out if there was really a record set. Let’s just say, I’m still looking and waiting on proof from the coordinators.

According to Motoress.com, Australian women riders gathered and successfully set world records for the largest female biker meet and ride.

I cannot find a Guinness World Record and according to RecordSetter.com in Australia their 2016 attempt did not officially beat the record. I did find Largest All-Female Biker Meet where a total of 1,549 women attended the Largest All-Female Biker Meet organized by Sherrie Woolf and Nimisha Patel in Hinckley, England July 24, 2022. There was a link to read more about it here World’s Largest Biker Meet on The Bike Insurer.

Why Momma Badger Is Riding from Florida

Angie — Momma Badger — doesn’t just talk about supporting women riders.

She lives it.

She is riding her own motorcycle from Florida to Illinois to stand shoulder to shoulder with other women riders.

As her husband, Sonny Da Badger, I couldn’t be prouder.

She’s not trailering.
She’s not flying.
She’s riding.

Because that’s what this movement represents.

Independence.
Strength.
Skill.
Sisterhood.

And we want other women to feel that same call to adventure.

How to Participate in the World Record Attempt

Here’s a simple breakdown to make it easy:

Black and white infographic titled “How to Join the GYGO2026 World Record Ride” outlining 3 steps: Register at midwestwomenriders.com, show up June 12, 2026 and share the event to beat the world record for the most females riding motorcycles at one time

Why Women Should Attend

Women should attend because:

  • It’s a women-only riding environment

  • It builds confidence

  • It fosters mentorship

  • It creates lifelong friendships

  • It supports female representation in motorcycling

  • It is safe and structured

  • It offers education and inspiration

  • It is a chance to make history

And most importantly:

You are not alone on this road.

What Needs to Happen to Beat Australia’s Record

To beat Australia (although again, it hasn’t been confirmed there is a record to beat):

  1. We need more registered female riders than their official count.

  2. Every rider must be on her own motorcycle.

  3. Every rider must follow official guidelines.

  4. We must show up — not just express interest.

  5. The entire event must be recorded on video.

If 1,000 say “maybe” but only 400 show up, we don’t win.

If 1,500 commit and 1,500 ride — we change history.

Final Words from Sonny Da Badger

I’ve watched my wife ride in heat, rain, long miles, and quiet highways.

I’ve watched her build confidence.
I’ve watched her help other women believe they can do the same.

Now I’m watching her prepare to ride from Florida to Illinois — not for attention — but for impact.

If you are reading this and wondering whether you should go…

This is your sign.

Register.
Ride.
Stand in formation.
Twist the throttle.

Let’s help Momma Badger — and hundreds of other incredible women — break the world record on June 12, 2026.
