I’m a Veteran owner/operator of  SIK Baggers in Southern Illinois.     Hey Steve

    I just purchased a 2022 Harley Road. Glide Special. among several modifications I want to do, I want to put a fat tire kit on the bike. I watch your videos and enjoy them, and watched the video when you put a fat tire kit on your whiskey project bike.

    My Harley dealership will not put on a fat tire kit, claiming that it would negatively alter the handling and geometry of the bike. I believe this because corporate either does not allow the dealerships to do it, and they strongly tells their dealerships that they should tell the customers not to do it.

    I value your opinion I would like to know your thoughts on this claim. The kit I’m looking to do is the native custom baggers kit the one for the touring bike without replacing or altering the forks.
